About

Building the resource layer for cislunar infrastructure

OuSoCo’s mission is to turn metal-rich asteroids into infrastructure for the in-space economy, through a process we call “forging on the fly.”

Our objective is to direct a sufficiently large, metal-rich asteroid into the Earth–Moon system via an ultra-precise nuclear deflection maneuver, positioning it as a resource hub for cislunar infrastructure — from orbital data centers to space-based solar power.

Backed by experimental data and ultra-high-precision, AI-enhanced physics modeling, OuSoCo will credibly demonstrate that this material is accessible. A first mission securing a 100-meter diameter object would already deliver the material needed for 35 gigawatts of data center capacity in space, while demonstrating full scalability of the technology into the terawatt realm.

CERN Research

The first dataset of its kind

OuSoCo is the only company worldwide permitted to conduct its own experiments at CERN (2024 and 2025), producing the first high-precision dataset on asteroid-material response under extreme energy deposition.

The peer-reviewed results were published in Nature Communications.
